Day Two Safari With our guide Liberty !

Male Nyala

Beautiful Zebras

Rhino and her baby.  I’m so into these

Ok a few more.

Wart hogs here were huge!

Every morning we stop for break and our wonderful guide Liberty spreads out coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and an assortment of cookies.

Here are the four wheel drive jeeps from our lodge. We keep the same guide every day and our A Team of 6 people.

The beautiful Vervet monkeys here and look at that baby!  They were everywhere here and even jumped out of the tree and grabbed a cookie from the tin!

Look at that sweet baby and such a protective mama

Our tour jeep

Amazing and very close

Icicle plant growing everywhere

This was in the entry way if the lodge made from all scrap metal for Rhino Ridge

Impala

Two male Zebra with the stripe down their tails.

We were fortunate to see the collared lion.  Many never saw him.  They brought in lions from other areas to give the species new blood.

Sunset our first night

In the evening our guide Liberty would set up a little bar for us with beer, sparkling water, rum, whiskey, gin, etc and snacks!

This is a photo of our group the A Team

See the amazing Dung Beetle roll this dung to his prepared hole.  The female hangs on and the male pushes.  He only rolls it uphill.

These beautiful creatures were everywhere with babies.

Beautiful spots

More Wart Hogs

Liberty our guide showing us the Dung Beetle and saving it from getting run over on the road

Liberty, named by his mother with this name because she fought for civil rights and women’s rights.  He was amazing and all self taught about the park and the animals
