We also passed a lovely new long bike trail that runs along the old railway. It’s all paved and is very wide. It’s kind of like the trail in Coeur d Alene.
Storms are building and the snow capped mountains are outstanding!
The river along the road. The terrain is so green.
The bike trail along the river!!
One of the quilts on the quilt walk…
The clouds were amazing and ever changing.
This is by our RV Park. It’s like Pickers on TV. It’s called the Petroliana Museum and he also has storage units here!! The signs go on for ever!!

Looking down the road. Notice the large shady trees!

We got to our RV park and found it to be very nice. There are huge Cottonwoods and Willow trees with fairly large RV spots. They seems to be a huge Mayfly hatch and they have covered camper, trucks and try hard to get inside! About an hour after we had parked the big storm front came through. I brought several of my potted plants from home so having been put outside they got a drink. After dinner we walked down by Utah Lake which is a stones throw from our park. Lots of renovations going on there so many trails and locations were closed. The lake is the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi but is only 10 ft deep ! It has a long history of abuse which I won’t go into. It’s almost like a superfund site but they are cleaning it up and trying to bring back the fisheries. The next day ( today) we needed to run some errands. We needed diesel and then into Walmart for a few groceries and some parts Dan needed. We spotted a Dollar Store and I’m searching for small items for Zoey our granddaughter. We all like to play games and she can beat us all so I told her I would make kind of a treasure chest of things for the winners!! We had another storm with high wind and rain so Dan parked the truck by the store to be away from tree branches. Now the threat has passed. It’s cool and cloudy. Dan went on a hunt for the popcorn we brought but alas he can’t find it!!!! Tessie does this sound familiar? Now he thinks he might have put the baby g box in one of the outside storage units! Who does that? While I looked I noticed he had rearranged a lot of my dry goods… heck I think he will have to be the full time cook after that :).
There is a very nice new airport here which is expanding flights all the time. The University also has a flight school here and fire management school. They have rental cars too and probably a thousand cars were in the parking area. Our park is close to the field so we hear planes coming and going.

On our walk
The water along the Lower Provo Trail . We saw some big turtles, Mallards, a few Pelicans and Yellow Warblers.
We saw several of the mounted on trees. We wonder if they are like game cameras but couldn’t find anything online about what they might be.
This is the radar for the big storm! The blue dot is us! Right in the middle of it.
